Rules, responsibilities, and safety expectations for AI-powered features on aimp.dev.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Scope
This AI Use & Safety Policy applies to all artificial intelligence and machine-learning features offered through aimp.dev ("AI Features"), including content generation, workflow automation, analysis, and recommendations. It supplements our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. How AI Features Work
- AI Features may generate text, classifications, summaries, recommendations, or other outputs based on your inputs and connected data.
- Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or inappropriate. This is sometimes called a "hallucination".
- AI Features are assistive tools. They do not replace human judgment, professional review, or compliance checks.
- Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not use your Customer Content to train foundation models. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve safety and reliability.
3. No Professional Advice
Unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement, AI outputs do not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical, or other regulated professional advice. You must not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for decisions with legal, financial, regulatory, or safety consequences.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Review important outputs before use, publication, or sending to third parties.
- Ensure your use of AI Features complies with applicable laws, including marketing, privacy, employment, and consumer protection rules.
- Disclose AI involvement where required by law or platform policy.
- Obtain all necessary rights and consents for inputs you provide, including prompts, files, and connected account data.
- Maintain human oversight for material business, legal, or compliance decisions.
- Accept responsibility for all actions taken through your account, including automated workflows.
5. Prohibited Uses
- Generating illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
- Impersonating real individuals or creating non-consensual synthetic media.
- Automating high-risk decisions about individuals without written approval.
- Attempting prompt injection, model extraction, distillation, or unauthorized security testing.
- Submitting special-category or sensitive personal data unless expressly permitted.
6. Restricted Uses Requiring Written Approval
Contact compliance@aimp.dev before deploying restricted use cases.
- Biometric analysis or identification.
- Medical, health, or diagnostic assistance.
- Credit, lending, insurance, or investment decision automation.
- Law enforcement, surveillance, or intelligence applications.
- Political persuasion targeted at specific individuals.
7. Safety Monitoring and Enforcement
We may monitor usage patterns, block unsafe prompts or outputs, suspend accounts, and cooperate with authorities where required by law. We may update safety filters and model providers without notice.
8. Reporting Harmful Outputs
If you encounter unsafe, biased, or clearly incorrect outputs, contact compliance@aimp.dev with the prompt, output, and context.
9. Beta and Experimental Features
Some AI Features may be labeled beta or preview. These are provided "as is" with no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
